STORY EXCERPT
The drive from his aunt’s house to Collin’s only took a few minutes. The sun had lowered even more and only a light glow lit up the sky. Samuel wound his way back to the paved road and followed it up the hill to where Collin’s house sat.
“What the hell?” Samuel pulled his car around in the circle drive and put it into park. He got out to stare at the empty lot. “It’s gone.” He looked around at the dirt with a few blades of grass popping up on what use to be a very large house. The white stone pillars, the tall brick walls, were all gone. The elegant home had vanished as if it had never existed.
Samuel stepped onto the dirt that used to be Collin’s house and walked around, looking for any signs of what had happened. Not that he was upset, actually, quite the opposite. Nothing good came from that house or what happened inside it, so good riddance.
The sound of a hammer hitting a nail pinged in Samuel’s ears. He glanced back at his car then turned to walk closer to the sound. He looked down to see tire tracks leading into the clearing toward the cliff that overlooked the ocean. The sound of music met his ears, followed by a deep voice singing along. Samuel smiled. He recognized the song, Vance Joy’s “Riptide.”
Before long Samuel came face to face with a log cabin, a nice one at that. It was constructed of a deep golden wood. The house sported a wraparound porch and large windows spaced evenly apart.
In the distance over the singing voice Samuel could hear the oceans as the waves crashed toward land.
It had been years since he’d last been here but Samuel’s memories of this property hadn’t diminished. He walked out toward the edge where there was a gradual drop off. A beaten-down dirt trial led to the secluded beach. The water was never very warm, but being a wolf shifter he and his brother had been able to withstand the freezing water. Samuel smiled to himself. He had loved every minute of it, too.
“Hey, can I help you?” a deep voice asked and Samuel turned around to face the stranger.
His breath caught in his throat. A tall man with broad shoulders lowered himself down a ladder and walked over to him. Samuel’s eyes traveled over the sweat covered tanned chest. He gulped down the drool pooling in his mouth. The intriguing scent of burning wood and moist earth filled his nose and he swayed on his feet. Besides being gorgeous, the man’s smell was intoxicating.
“Samuel?”
At the shock of hearing his name, his eyes darted up to the man’s face. The man ran a hand through his shaggy blond hair coated in sweat, pushing it off his forehead. A thick beard covered his jaw, kind of obscuring his face. But the most memorizing thing about this man was his light blue eyes that stared at him with such…such what? Samuel couldn’t say.
It took a moment for Samuel to get his mouth to work and form words. He coughed to clear his throat. “Yes, I’m Samuel.” He cocked his head, surprised this man knew who he was. “How did you know my name?”
The man smiled and shook his head as he removed the gloves on his hands. He smacked the thick material against his thigh. “To be honest I’d never forget your face.”
Unsure how to respond to that, Samuel crossed his arms over his chest. There was something very familiar about this man and at the sight of those chilly blue eyes he knew exactly who this was. Collin’s son. But where Collin’s eyes held nothing but hateful fury, CJ’s were kind and open. Samuel thought if he tried hard enough he might be able to see into his very soul.
“CJ,” Samuel mumbled then looked off in the distance at the black ocean. It had been over four years since he felt attracted toward another person, and why did it have to happen now? And why toward CJ? He was a little uncomfortable because the longing he felt toward this man kept getting clouded by the knowledge that he was Collin’s son.
“Yep, that’s me.” CJ looked as if he were forcing a smile. “And by the look on your face, that’s not a good thing.”
“I’m sorry, it’s just that…” Samuel took a deep breath, unsure what to say. Yes, he held a lot of pent up aggression toward this man’s father but Samuel couldn’t take his anger out on CJ. That wouldn’t be fair. And as it was he couldn’t hang on to his resentment when standing so close to CJ. What was wrong with him?
“No, it’s okay, really. I’m sure looking at a face that reminds you of a man you hate can’t be easy. God knows it’d be hard for me.” CJ turned his attention to stare at the ground. Samuel watched as the man rocked back and forth on his heels. No matter how hard he tried Samuel couldn’t take his eyes off of CJ. “Jayme told me you’d be arriving today. I just didn’t expect you to come here so soon.” CJ looked up at him.
“Huh?” Samuel’s mouth dropped open at that but he quickly shut it as annoyance toward his brother sunk in. “Of course Jayme would call and warn you that I was coming out here. Did he happen to tell you why I’m out here?”
“He might have mentioned that you felt like I overstepped my boundaries by paying off your college loan.” CJ’s cheeks flushed with heat.
CJ looked absolutely adorable with his face stained a bright pink. He looked like a little boy who got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
ADULT EXCERPT
When they finished eating CJ stood up to collect the dishes. When Samuel got up to help he told him to sit down and enjoy the rest of his coffee. Samuel sat and watched as CJ rinsed off the plates then stuck them in the dishwasher. The corded muscles in his back and arms flexed as he reached or bent down to put something in the dishwasher. Samuel raised his coffee mug to his lips and took a sip, but the strong brew had lost all its flavor. The only thing he was hungry for was CJ.
Samuel sat his cup down and stood up. He walked over to the counter and stood behind CJ. The smell of sweat and their love making from the previous night still clung to their skin and served as an aphrodisiac to his stiffening cock. Samuel closed the distance between them and rubbed his stiff pole in between CJ’s ass cheeks. CJ let out a loud groan and he pushed back against Samuel’s body.
“That feels good.” CJ raised his arms above his head, then reached back to wrap them around Samuel’s neck. “You feel so good.”
Samuel pushed into CJ harder, bracing one arm on the counter and bringing the other to rest on CJ’s rippling abdomen. “I want you, CJ.” Samuel nipped at CJ’s neck hard enough to leave a bruise. It was like his wolf was taking over. He felt like an animal wanting to mark his territory and the only way he could do that was to fill his mate with his cum.
“I’m not stopping you.” CJ arched his back, shoving his ass back into Samuel’s hard cock. “Take me, Sammy, right here, right now.”
Samuel moved his hands to the waist of CJ’s sweats and nudged them down. He lifted his foot to knock them down the rest of the way. He reached around and fisted CJ’s thick shaft and used his free hand to yank down his shorts. His cock pulsed with every beat of his heart and a steady stream of pre-cum leaked out the tip of his dick. Samuel let go of CJ’s cock, to his mate’s sounds of displeasure. He then collected the wetness at the tip of his cock and used his other hand to hold CJ open for him. CJ’s pink slit came into view and Samuel could barely swallow down the drool filling his mouth. A light dusting of blond hair covered the hole and Samuel reached forward to run his damp finger of the tight muscle. CJ moaned and reached back with his hands to hold himself open.
Samuel had never fucked another man before and was curious to see what it felt like. He’d been a virgin before Collin had sold him. But even then he couldn’t really remember those few times he’d been forced to do things he didn’t want to. The drugs they kept pumping into his system kept him numb and compliant to the people who bought him and their needs. No pain or enjoyment, just fear was all he could remember. Bits and pieces now were starting to break through but no matter what Samuel refused to consider those times as anything other than a bad memory. To him he lost his virginity last night to his mate.
“Don’t I need to get something?” Samuel asked as he dipped the tip of his finger in the center of the rippled hole.
“Here.” CJ reached over toward the stove and grabbed a bottle that had a light greenish liquid in it. Samuels stood up and picked up the glass jar. “It’s olive oil.”
“We could always just go back to the room if you want,” Samuel suggested. He didn’t think the oil would harm CJ or anything but Samuel thought his mate might be more comfortable in the bed.
“No.” CJ fisted his hand in Samuel’s hair and pulled him close for a kiss. He pushed his tongue deep into CJ’s mouth causing needy little moans to escape his throat. “Take me right here right now. You don’t have to be gentle with me, Sammy.” A lazy smile curled CJ’s lips. “I want you to fuck me hard and fast and take from my body like the animal I know you can be.”
CJ leaned forward and sucked on Samuel’s bottom lip, then bit him. The sting flipped a switch inside him and Samuel wrapped the fingers of his right hand around CJ’s throat as he landed a forceful kiss onto his lips. He allowed his teeth to lengthen and sharpen just enough to bite into CJ’s lower lip, drawing blood.
“Oh fuck, Sammy.” CJ gasped as he pulled away, facing back toward the sink, his head falling between his shoulders. “Come on, fuck me.” He thrust his ass into Samuel’s crotch.
Samuel grabbed the oil and dribbled some on his fingers. He smeared it over his hard cock then reached forward to shove his slick fingers into CJ’s hole. CJ grunted and twitched under his touch.
“Is this what you wanted?” Samuel wrapped his fingers back around CJ’s throat and hissed the words into his ear. Samuel had never been this way before but something about CJ lit a fire inside him, freeing his inner beast.
“God yes.” CJ groaned pushing back into Samuel’s fingers, fucking himself. “Fuck me with that hard cock.”
“Bossy, aren’t you?” Samuel chuckled. He grabbed the base of his cock and put the wet tip at CJ’s opening and worked his way in, not stopping until his balls pressed up tight to CJ’s ass.
“Only when my mate isn’t moving fast enough.”
