I really really liked Gale Stanley's "Captive." I wasn't a huge fan of book two in the series but i loved this next book. I loved the character of Janis, and the personal trials she went through in this story. As a woman, reading about her fears and insecurities in finding love and having children made for an instant connection.
The story was captivating and very fresh. The love and loyalty that Janis felt for her family while she was trying to find a life of her own was very well written. Her attraction and desires for Noah and Wade made for juicy reading! and the smexy parts were "Oh so steamy!"
Overall the emotional connection i made with Janis, Noah and Wade was awesome.
I also loved the new characters that Gale introduced us to, especially that of the cold and conflicted character of Alex and hope made please if another book is written that maybe we get to see him find his she-wolf love? Who knows she might be right under his nose! xoxo--FunkyDiva.

I'm glad I went ahead and read it after reading the second book in the series (this is the third) I wan't sure I wanted to read more, but this was better then the second novel. I liked the adherence to wolf politics, even when it went against the grain. I do feel that there should have been more of a chase at the end to win her affection.
