Very disappointed this was not a full book more of a footnote to the storyline. The characters came together way too easy. With the way life was going for both especially Warner trust would have been a little longer to obtain. This story read as a task to finish to complete the set. If the author continues with this series I hope the story has more meat to it.

Another hot one from Kaliana. So glad she is back. Great story, building to an awesome HEA. I love how all the characters make a return in each book. And how I would love to hear Ty sing Kip Moore, perfect song choice I could hear it in my head as a read the book. Bring on the next one Kaliana - don't make us wait to long.

The storyline for the series is very good and a different look on Vampires and their traits. I gave the book 3 stars because of the use of the phrase "The Man" in every sentence. It is overkill and removes me from the story due to the over usage. This is my first time reading a series by this author. I am enjoying reading how the characters develop and watching the family grow. I would just suggest finding a different way to express action and who the speaker is.

A great addition to the angel warrior series. I loved learning more about the three warrior angels in this story. Kade's story in particular had intrigued me from book 1. All three men are well fleshed-out characters in their own right and each love Perry with all of their hearts. Perry is a great heroine and deserving of her HEA with her angels. Can't wait for more of this series.

So, I’m 15% into this book and realized I had read it before. So I investigated and found out this book is almost word for word like Pirates Cove 3. That’s the story about Malik and Jesse. Seems like only the names were changed. Disappointed.

I cannot read this and I’m miffed. Bookstrand has “mobi” as their default file and when I push the green a it sends a mobi document to my email stating mobi is no longer supported by Kindle. I’ve sent three messages to Bookstrand requesting my books be sent in epub format and they won’t respond. I’ve no doubt though that given this is a Becca Van novel it will be an A+. She is one of my favorite writers!

I just reread most of the series prior to reading this book. I liked the main characters but I have noticed a pattern in recent books including this one. Probably half the book is the characters (both primary and peripheral) talking about their feelings. The books have become very introspective and there is lots of self analysis, much more so than earlier books. They are almost condescending in how the residents of Lusty are so wise and people outside are not. All this has come at the expense of any plot or story. The plot is somewhat thin in this book. I kept waiting for it to start moving. As I look back on my favorite books in the series, they all have more a much more involved plot or story and less talk or self analysis. The characters in this book were likable but the story never reaches its potential.

J.C. Owens is one of my auto-buy-authors. And again, she surely didn’t disappoint. I like her heroes, the way they have to endure a lot, before they get their well deserved happy ending. I liked the preview of the book and the fact it was over 250 pages. However, there was to much repetition of everything. The ending was good. The side stories were good. The main story was good. Just to much sex, to much talking about feelings, to much detail. Don’t get me wrong. I like erotic romance. I felt a lot of stuff was filler to make the book bigger.

This would have been a great story, but the ending was too abrupt, leaving the story incomplete. Ofelia, do not be afraid to write another 30,000 words. I really wanted to clobber Guy with a cast iron frying pan. But more importantly, I wanted to see Josh succeed in bringing Oz out of his PTSD and address the abuse that he faced for five years. Oz was so far down the PTSD rabbit hole that he did not even see Guy as an abuser. He was still blaming himself at the end. If you had carried his relationship with Josh through the next 1 to 2 years, I would expect that to change. But you cut the story short instead of rewarding your readers with the happy ending that we wanted to see Oz get. Plus, Guy totally got away with abusive behavior. I really wanted to see him get his a beat down or chased out of town or something for being an abusive prick. But he gets away with it. That sucks!

This continuation of their original story was a great peak in to their lives. One unrealistic point though was that if she was medicated because of an injury she would have been advised not to nurse.

This book was awesome! I can't say anymore really. It is like I understand the writer through her books. I get what she is about, her thought processes, her wants and desires. Good job Sam Cresent I praise you.

I really liked this. Cayson was adorable in his confusion about what was going on, though there are a few times he gets annoying. Lachlan obviously has a good heart, but again has his annoying traits that really grate on the nerves at times. All in all the story flows nicely, balancing the romance with the crime mystery back drop. A few places had me confused about who was doing what, but it wasn't distracting enough to stop reading. Despite my few grievances it was a good read and I'm thinking about starting from the beginning of the series (yes I read this one first before any of the others). I recommend it to anyone interested in a quick, fun read.

This book is amazing! The level of detail in the scenarios gives the reader an amazing imaginary view of the surroundings, especially during the rescues. I did have a sense that they were on rescue operations and hoped that whoever needed to be saved hadn't ended up on a tough spot. The only downsides that I found, besides a few typographical errors that didn't really bother me, was the short "time" that Jimmy and Roman spent together. The time they spent was, in fact, valuable for the development of their relationship, but I would've liked to see more of them. Nonetheless, this book still deserves 4 stars. And I cannot wait to read the next one!

This is the first of the Brac Pack Next Gen series I've read, having only picked it up now because I really enjoyed Steele and Diablo's story and wanted to see how their son finds his happiness with his mate. I did enjoy this book, but not as much as I did "Forged in Steele". I found the ending highly disappointing considering everything that Samara has put the dragon race through. All in all a good book though.

What I love about Dixie's books is that they are love stories but also have a little mystery or suspense thrown in with a pinch of drama. It makes for a page turning story. At the end you feel sad to say goodbye to the characters but you also walk away with the feeling that yes, love conquers all. So if you haven't read Show me what love is or any of the Crossroads series please do. What a wonderful story.

I recently met Ms. Addison at a book signing and was intrigued by her books. This is the first book of hers I have read, and I was not disappointed. From the first chapter I was fascinated by Aurora. Her character is very well developed, right from the start. She is a no nonsense, take charge kind of woman, who has worked her way up to the top of the corporate ladder in the fashion world. She is tough and knows exactly what she wants in the boardroom. She runs her company with strength and compassion, illustrated by helping an older employee when is wife is ill. I love a strong female lead in a book and Ms. Addison balances her strength with her care for others and just a trace of vulnerability. Aurora's relationship with her man, Nicholas, is off the charts. While she is take charge in the boardroom, in the bedroom she needs to have someone else in control. While there may be a financial imbalance in their relationship, in the bedroom they are more than equal. While Nicholas may be a bit of a control freak, he loves Aurora deeply and the level of trust they share is amazing. Nicholas works for the Yankees organization and recruits sponsors for the team. He and Aurora share a love of sports and a wonderful sexual chemistry. While the couple has a complete and active sex life, after coming across a bukkake film one evening, the couple has an argument. Aurora is disgusted by the act and Nicholas is intrigued. However, Aurora ultimately becomes fascinated by the idea, causing her many conflicting feelings. Once she confesses her fantasy to Nicholas they set about making it a reality. The amount of trust that the couple has is only surpassed by the love they share. It takes a tremendous amount of both for the couple to embark on that journey.

I've never been one for MM books, but there was something that made me buy this one. I'm certainly glad I did! The relationship between Jack and Mason is rocky to begin with, but by the time I got through the first half of this book I was laughing out loud at Mason's wit and screaming FINALLY when Jack figured out that Mason was the one for him. I'm terribly sad that the book is over already (seeing as how I read it all in one sitting), and I can't wait for the next one to come out. I'm desperate to read Coop and Alec's story. I would definitely suggest giving this book a read, and I do believe I might have to give the MM genre another go of it.

I always get lost in books written by the very talented Jan Bowles. This one doesn't disappoint in the sheer heat stakes. Phew, I need a cold shower. However, I would have liked the book to have been longer as I think the story required it. Kyle was definitely a bastard, perhaps too much, particularly in the spanking scene with Charity. Then again, Charity didn't tell him about her upbringing and the beatings she'd endured by her parents. That's why I think the book would have benefited by being longer, to inject some tenderness and understanding into their love story.

The group of Vick, Lester, Bob, and Hal are the greatest and funniest bunch I've ever read! Because of them and their crazy ideas, right from the start I laugh out loud as I read the story progressing. The relationship between the two main heroes is very passionate and a joy to read. It was definitely a more than worthy book to read, hence the rating of 5, of course.
