I finally finished Stacy’s Destiny for the third time and I really don’t have much to add but I do have one issue that I over looked in the past and that was the edits but they were not that bad so it wont take much away from the rating. Original part of this review. It took me longer to read this book on the second time around, I think that was because I am reading another book at the same time and I really just wanted to savor the read this time. You know how i is, when you get into a book and you don't want put the book down or might miss something (it's almost like watching a new episode of your favorite TV show). I will most likely read this one again, I really like stories where the woman won't give up without a fight, rather than just sitting there waiting to be rescued. And Stacy sure can put up a fight :) Stacy is physically abused, almost sexually assaulted and stalked by her crazy ass boss so her friend tricks her into going to Texas to get her out of line of fire (smart friend). In Texas she falls in love with twin brother. In this day where sexual harassment happens daily I think it is great that a writer can put a face on it without making the woman look totally weak and defenseless. I really did like hour Stacy broke her boss' nose, to bad she could get a nut shot in as well. Good book ...maybe one too many sub plots. There's the stalker/harasser from New York, the crazy wife of the stalker, and then a crazy admirer. Those stories were most interesting toward the end of the book as the momentum picked up and. I enjoyed the conclusions as it all came together, it just took a while to get there. Loved I Max and Eric--- they were great heroes. I liked Stacy too and her feisty attitude but there were times by the middle of the book that I got a little tired of the 'tude. Overall though, it's a good book and the writing as usual is solid.

I love the town of pearl series and hope there is more books later in this hot, steamy, erotic book. I couldnt put this one down. BRAVO! Ms Dwyer you did it again, another fantastic book.

There are some books that draw you in and make you a part of the story. Mrs Dwyer brought the town and its citizens to life. I love the spunky female characters... especially when they confront the other females and stake their claim. I fell in love with the characters and the town after reading "For the Love of Anna" and was happy to get the chance to know Stacey and her men better. So, who's next?

This was another well written book by Dixie Lynn Dwyer, but book 1 in the series (For the Love of Anna) was so much better.

Even though this is book 2 in this series, the action really happens before the story that is told in book 1, largely because fans of these characters wanted to know their background story. It is a delightful tale that is engaging and holds the reader's interest from the first. All of these characters are strong--alpha males who know their own minds and preferences, wanting a future with a good woman but not sure that it will ever come to pass. Yet the heroine is a strong, sassy, smart woman who is a joy to encounter and one who is not about to be run over by men just because she is female. A really fun read and one that will be enjoyed by me more than once.

Love the story and the town of Pearl, just wished there was a little more menage scenes with both brothers. It seem Eric and Stacy were together more than the 3 of them together. I love the one on one romance and sex scene but Max seem left out a bit.

I liked this book, however, I liked Anything for Anna better. While this book was longer, I thought there was more sex and less story then in Anna's book. Both books were very good though and I hope Millie might get a story? I will keep my eye out for other books by Dixie Lynn Dwyer as well.

I think you needed to let everyone who purchases this series know that this should be read before "For The Love Of Anna". That would make more sense. I had purchased Anna's book when it was first published, loved it and couldn't wait to see if there were more. She was such a sweet person you couldn't help but cry thru the book. Her relationship with the guys was great. But you need to have Stacy in the picture first for Anna to be able to go to her when she needed help. Stacy's story needed to be known first for it to make sense. Just let everyone know in the write up to keep confusion and frustration down. :) I enjoyed reading "Stacy's Destiny" except for one thing. "Texan speak"....... I live in Texas, have lived here all my life. We do not use the word Yah'l for a singular person. Yah'l is used when asking a group of two or more something. Not asking one person to do something. Stacy's Destiny helped build up the setting for more in this series really well. I can see a story about Willie coming soon. At least I hope so. I love the townspeople and their characters. This type of series are my favorites. Please keep up the good work. I really loved the characters and the way they reacted with each other.

I've changed the order to read this book with 'For the Love of Anna' because this story is about Stacy's arrival in Pearl, and in FLOA she's been in the town for awhile.
