Not one of my favorite books from this author. Mariana was OK, as was Jameson, but Jax was ridiculously overbearing, amd not in a good way. I love a good alpha male, but Jax came off as a jerk most of the time, with little to no caring for Mariana's feelings. The relationship felt very rushed; I didn't feel a deep connection between the trio.

Loved book 2 of this great series. Mariana is one tough girl who deserves to have two sexy, hot, hunky retired soldiers like Jax and Jameson Spaulding to love and cherish her.
