“I can’t…hold. Not ablll…dark… veil clo-sing…in on… me! I can’t…hol…!”

I felt as alone as I ever had as a wall of water twenty-feet high rose above my head, pushing me against death itself. The ocean overtook me. It felt as if a whale had swallowed me, like what happened to Jonah. And then I began to feel myself dissolving into calm as never before. I felt in contact with something beyond imagination, something highlighting life as one could never know. A higher spirit had transported me, lifting me from the earth to a place I never knew existed!

Everything seemed transformed around me. I felt lifted out darkness and fear and in the midst of quiet, solemn surroundings. The location abounded with hope, aspiration, and inspiration, and I experienced something you might in the presence of Halls of Ivy campuses, chimneys puffing from simple abodes, and every other wind-blown sign of bliss. I felt eternal peace!
