Cara is recently divorced, and decides to attend the festival for the first time. She's looking to mingle with the locals and make a new home for herself far from her cheating ex-husband. When Cara and Renee meet, the two instantly hit it off. There’s one small problem -- Cara isn't a lesbian.

But will these two women find more than a simple holiday celebration to quench their hearty appetites? What happens when the heat of July proves to be far too hot to handle for either one of them?

Excerpt

My hand inched beneath her shirt, coming to rest upon her stomach as we kissed. I felt her body tremble against mine and I was certain I’d taken it too far. I feared she would pull away, but she didn’t. My hand dared to slip higher, caressing her breasts through the flimsy bra she wore. She gasped when I rolled her nipple between my fingertips. I instantly felt the loss when she pulled away and looked at me with wild eyes.

“I’m not gay,” she insisted.

I grinned and leaned forward. “But you like what I’m doing to you, don’t you?” I traced a single finger around her nipples, offering them another squeeze from the outside of her shirt.

She swallowed hard and then took in a shaky breath. “Yes,” she whimpered. Her eyes sparkled with need when the fireworks began to soar into the air, rising high above our heads before bursting with color. When the bright colors flickered across the night sky, her face was illuminated with hues of red, green, and yellow. I watched her eyes flutter to a close when my hand came to rest upon her zipper. I slid down the zipper as the crackle of fireworks filled the silent air.

“Someone will see us.” She opened her eyes, nervously looking around to make sure no one was near. “We shouldn’t do this.” Her body’s reaction did not match her words as her hips arched against my palm, begging for more.

A proud oak tree stood a few feet away, blocking prying eyes. For once, I was thankful there was an overabundance of trees in my hometown. “Relax,” I murmured, my tongue gliding over her tender flesh. She tasted so sweet, so fresh. A light floral scent lingered on her neck as my lips pressed wet kisses from side to side. When she grew limber, I pulled away to make certain she was okay. “Do you want me to stop?”

“No,” she whimpered. Her gaze locked with mine when another flurry of colorful fireworks burst across the sky. No longer was there fear in the sea of green, there was passion, need, and a mutual desire. She reached up, pulling me down against her as she kissed my lips. I realized she wanted this every bit as much as I.
