Excerpt

Seth was having the most amazing dream. He was at a party on a tropical beach with twenty of the hottest guys and they were all naked. Under the full moon, the party soon turned into an orgy. He was fucking one guy and sucking another, while another hot guy was playing with his ass. He was in complete ecstasy when he was abruptly awakened by the loud bang of his bedroom door slamming shut. He immediately sat up in bed, turned on the lamp, and looked at the door. Much to his shock he saw a man standing by the door. The man was very handsome, with slicked back hair, piercing blue eyes, and a sharp cleanly shaved jawline. He was wearing a tailored black suit and smoking a pipe. Seth couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He nervously asked, “Uh ... who are you? Umm ... can I help you?”

The man smiled at Seth and motioned for him to follow as he passed through the door. Seth was frozen in his bed, not sure what he should do. He was so surprised by it all he didn’t know whether he should be frightened or curious. The man came back into the room and again motioned for Seth to follow. This time, Seth cautiously got out of bed, opened his bedroom door, and followed the man down the hall. The man kept turning back to make sure Seth was following him. When they got to the living room, the man passed through the side wall. Unable to follow him, Seth just stood there wondering what the man wanted. The man came back into the living room and looked at Seth. He then pointed at the wall and mouthed some words Seth couldn’t hear.

“What do you want? I can’t go through the wall,” Seth said.

The man kept tapping the wall and mouthing something.

“I can’t hear you?” Seth said.

The man very quietly said, “My office.”

Seth looked at him and asked, “Your office? There’s nothing there, it’s just a wall.”

“My office is behind the wall,” the man said.

“There’s just the yard behind that wall. That’s the edge of the house,” Seth commented.

“My office,” the man said. He then motioned for Seth to follow him as he passed through the front door. Seth followed him into the yard and to the side of the house. The man tapped the side of the house and said, “My office.”

Seth stared at the side of the house as the man kept saying, “My office.” As Seth studied the exterior of the house, he realized that the living room didn’t extend all the way to the outside wall. He went back inside the house and studied the wall where the man had been pointing. He noticed that a small section of the wall was protruding ever so slightly from the rest of the wall. It wasn’t noticeable unless you looked very carefully. Seth wondered if there really was an office behind that wall.

The man appeared again, standing beside Seth. Seth looked at him and asked, “Who are you?”

The man smiled and softly said, “I’m Henry Haynes, your great-grandfather.”

Seth was dumbfounded. “This can’t be real, this has to be a dream.”

“I assure you, I’m very real and this is not a dream,” Henry said.

“What do you want from me? What’s in your office?” Seth asked.

“I want to help you.” Henry replied.

“Help me? Help me with what?”

“Just go in my office and you’ll find answers there,” Henry said before disappearing once again.
