Kelly resides in a quiet suburb in NY. Her backyard is small but secluded. During the summer, you'll find Kelly in her sunroom. The winter months, she sits in her writing room. Her two favorite places to go and write after she gets home from her other job: representing a group of nursing facilities in the WNY area. The weekends are when she really gets lost. She forgets about the dishes, laundry and the family tends to ask her the same question twice. You can usually find her peeking up from her laptop saying “what?” as she tries to pull herself away from her story and come back to the world going on around her.
Writing, what other way is there to describe it—it's Kelly's conviction. After working in the human health field profession for nearly two decades, Kelly's aware of how deficient many people's daily lives are of true human connection. Through her writing, she strives to reconnect readers with those all-too-rare feelings of unquenchable desire, heated passion, and splendid euphoria. The recipe for the men in her stories: dark and mysterious, strong and confident, and of course, besides magnificent bodies, and shameless aptitudes, they must have a heart you want to rip out of the pages (or your e-Reader) and take to bed with you at night.
Q: How do you describe your writing style?
A: It can be a tad humorous, sometimes dark, heart wrenching and scorching hot… but it's always drizzled with a great love story. For those few hours that I have them, I want to touch every emotion in my reader. Make them gasp, clench, and swoon—all in a single breath.
Q: Are you a plotter or a fly by the seat of your pants writer?
A: As enticing as a plotter may seem—taking your time, going slow, and dragging it out—when it comes to my writing, I'm a fly by the seat of your pants kinda girl.
Q: Are any of your characters reflective of you?
A: Me, my best friend, my brother, a co-worker... they are little pieces of the best and worst of anyone I've encountered.
Q: What’s your favorite color?
A: Green but sometimes my eyes do like to flirt with red.
Q: What type of Hero will we find in your books?
A: Bad boys, if you give 'em a little time and experience, they will evolve into misbehaving men. Like many others, when I was younger, my whimsical heart chased after those bad boys until I realized they were just that—boys. In my stories, I take those little heartbreakers and write them as all grown up men.
Q: Do your characters ever want to take over the story?
A: Oh, yes. I depend on it!
Q: Do you have any other special talents?
A: Yes. I am a gifted singer. I don’t sell tickets for my shower performances but I do hold daily concerts in my vehicle. Though, I recommend getting your tickets early because seating is very limited!
