Reviews for Spring Comes to Sanctuary (MFM)

I have loved all of this author's work but I am not sure that this novella is really up to the standards I found in her other writings. As always, my chief complaint is that her pieces are simply too short. Not enough character development, not enough of their lives contained in the stories to really make it much more than encounters that turn into erotic affairs and then to life matings. I know all about "love at first sight" as I experienced that in my own life. But I think sometimes authors need to be realistic that such is not the case very often. Shifters, I grant you, are definitely not human, but for the sake of the stories, teasing it out a bit wouldn't hurt and would be much more story for the money. Otherwise, it's a nice bit of writing. I just didn't think the story was as intense or as "rich" in background color as her previous work.

Really good. I wish it had been longer but it was a very good story. I hope the rest of the brothers find their mates.

Loved the book. I just wish it could have been a little bit longer. There wasn't as much suspense for my tastes but overall it was a good read. Look forward to the next set to this series.

Felt a little rushed, and the "villian" was weak and a bit contrived. OK but not great.

Ms. McKenzie has another winner on her hands! She has a way with shifters that just grabs the attention. Thankfully this book is the START of a new series! Well written, good characters, and hawtness all thru it. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. Georgia isn't THAT far from North Carolina, is it???
