Melodie's Song is book three in the "Black Dahlia Hotel" series. It's a stand-alone and I haven't yet read the other two books, however there are some interesting characters apart from the two principal ones and I look forward to getting to know them. Melodie and Logan are engaging and sympathetic. The sex-scenes are hot but there is more to their relationship. The background is detailed and Ms Michaels has written a good, fast-paced story which holds one's interest to the very end.
