Ok, so I thought that historical western erotica would be lame, but Ms. Brooke proved me wrong. First of all I am a huge Leah Brooke fan, but this book sent me on a four book erotic historical western fiction binge. What can I say, hi my name is Amy and I binge on Siren publishing erotica.

If I had known more about the story line I probably would not have purchased this title. However, in this instance ,ignorance is bliss and what a fun, wild ride. Ms. Kougar's politics and mine are quite divergent, but she has a fine sense of humor and a real flair for not only writing the erotic scenes, but the action scenes were very good. Passion burns and guns blaze all with a science fiction flair, I really enjoyed this book.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this fairy tale series so far and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the installments. Ms. Newmar's gleeful homage to Snow White and the seven dwarfs is delightful. If you are looking for angst, heartbreak and somber thoughtful prose this is definitely not the book for you. However, if you like a fun read with hot sex and "horny" men then I can highly recomend this series.
