Cauler does an excellent job creating an engaging story with an intense plot and lots of sexy times to balance it. The story continues with the co-Alphas calling all their wolves back to River's Bend. Although sassy, Mikayla is not a wolf who typically defies alpha orders. Well...that is most of the time. This time she defies the direct, "stay put", order because her friend, and fellow she-wolf Liz isn't in River's Bend and hasn't been in touch with any of the posse of girlfriends. Mikayla lightly "borrows" the alpha's van to leave the territory in search of her wayward friend. However, when Mikayla arrives at Liz's home, things are definitely not as she expected they would be. She is immediately accosted and kidnapped by two sexy alphas. Two sexy alphas who just happen to be her mates and are part of a band of resistance shifters fighting against Ulric and his battle for total supremacy. Jack and Hunter instantly recognize who Mikayla is to them and they kidnap her to keep her safe from men who would have done her harm if it weren't for their intervention. Needless to say, times are very explosive between the trio but their mating definitely is not an easy one. Jack and Hunter hide Mikayla away to a resistance hideout to be closer to Liz who is quite all right after all. The hideout is cramped and the furthest thing from private so the mates have to steal snatches of time together where the can. But Ulric is a busy boy and he is ramping up his plan of revenge against Grey and supremacy over the wolves of River's Bend. This book was jam packed with lots of plots and subplots and we finally understand why Ulric hates Grey the way he does. And boy was that secret a whopper. One that totally tilts Luke and Mason's world upside down. There is an epic battle that ends in many injuries and and one death that will totally shift the future of the pack. I am really enjoying how this series is developing and encourage paranormal romance lovers -- specifically those who enjoy shapeshifters to check this one out.

Claiming Hope (MFM) by Suzette Rose Cauler (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )

Once again, I enjoyed visiting the Wolves of River Bend. I loved Adam and Levi in Nikki's Fated but absolutely adored them in Claiming Hope. They were strong and dominant, but also very sweet and caring. They also were both fully on board with wanting to claim Hope...only Hope wasn't exactly certain she wanted to be claim. Life, in the form of her own body and her cheating ex-husband, had dealt her some serious blows and she was struggling with trust and confidence issues. She essentially secluded herself from the world, trapping herself in a protective bubble. Thanks to her nagging mother, and sister, Sarah, she got herself out of her self imposed rut and visited River Bend to see her sister after two years. Hope's arrival in River Bend brings her all kinds of unexpected and shocking revelations. The first being that her sister is not just with one man, but two. Two very virile and sexy men who have put a love-filled and satisfied glow on her face. As Hope is just beginning to accept her sister's reality, she is unaware that she has caught the attention of her own pair of men -- Adam and Levi Black. On a night out with her sister and her men, Hope's scent immediately filters to the Black brothers. They instantly know that their mate is in the vicinity and they seek her out. Unfortunately for them, Hope is not interested ... well sorta ... in their flirtations. Oh, Hope is definitely physically attracted to the Black men but her past is holding her back like an unyielding tether. After a sequence of events, the major being a threat to Hope, the men come to her aid and ensconce her in their home to care for her. Although the attraction between the trio is potent, Hope still resists. Until they all reach their breaking point and give in to their passions. *Sigh*...if only it were that easy, right? The men are fully on the Hope is our mate. We must claim her train. And Hope is clearly on one going in the complete opposite direction: I don't trust men and this was only one night. Thus begins the push/pull nature of their relationship with Levi and Adam pulling Hope toward them and her pushing them away. Cauler does an excellent job throwing in situations where they have to rely on one another -- thus exponentially expanding Hope's trust and even her love for the men. The action was a bit more intense in this one because there was a ramping up of action with the rogue wolves and Hope's very own rogue wolves who want to do her harm. Levi and Adam are as protective as any other alpha shifter males but their stubbornness almost drove Hope away from them as they were trying to protect her. I love how she "got them back" and got exactly what she wanted: two mates. I also enjoyed seeing a bit more from the Ulric character who was only mentioned in Nikki's Fated. He was vile and evil and I just know he will bring dark times to come for the pack. I can't wait :). The Wolves of River Bend is a very enjoyable series and I would recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for a sexy paranormal romance.

Schooling Their Racy Teacher (MFM) by Tara Rose (Published by: Siren-BookStrand, Inc. )
$5.99

This reviewer's rating: 4 - Good

A very sexy and sweet story. I enjoyed the character dynamic, in that Gary and Jake weren't besties or hardly friends at all prior to meeting Ava. They actually came from vastly different backgrounds, but the evolution of their partnership and subsequent friendship was well done as they learned to please Ava as a team. There were some very hot and sexy moments in this one! The Racy Nights series is smexy but the thing I enjoy about it the most is that each book is a standalone although they are loosely you're together. You won't feel as if you're missing anything if you haven't read books 1-9 prior to reaching this book. However, you totally should read them all because they are just plain smoking hot.
