This was an ok book, but not up to par with her last two entries in this series. There were quite a few 'yeah the fuck right,' moments as well as 'why is no one calling the police?' moments, & generally more unbelievable reactions. In essence, this was just not a believable book on both Harley & Miko's part. I was really upset when 'My Guardian Angelo' ended & felt cheated, but I couldn't wait to get to the end of this one. Stormy Glenn is my fav m/m author & I will continue to purchase books, but this was not a keeper for me. Hopefully her next book will be on par with what I've come to expect from her.

This is a pretty good series. Its interesting how she intermingled fantasy with real life issues in today's world. That's the main reason I love this series so much, it makes you think. I love the cliffhanger ending, and am glad Ian's story is already out & next. Would love to know the little vampire's identity, hopefully he's a good guy and will have his own story. My only gripe, or maybe I should say discomfort, is Dorian taking a 10 inch c**k up his a*s w/o lube. From the description, Dorian shouldn't be screaming in anything but pain. And he really should have been on his way to the emergency room quite a few times to get himself stitched up from the hard, dry pounding be continually takes.

I was so excited to get the book. the blurb & exerpt were really good... and then I started reading it. The first 30 pages were ok, and then Wesley turns into a major drama queen. a misunderstanding blown out of proportion. it kinda reminds me of the stories where the writers drag out a misunderstanding for months on end... well that's how this book felt to me

This was an ok book, however, Tristan got on my last nerve. At first, I could understand his feelings and sympathized with him, but then he started to contradict himself, he told Jared one thing but then turned around and did it with the other 2 guys w/o loving them, so he's a bit of a hypocrit in addition to being a hothead who jumps to conclusions(usually the wrong ones), add in the unexpected height growth, & it was a little hard to finish. I love Joyee Flynn, & don't want to give up on this series, so hopefully the next installment will be better.

I like the twist Stormy put on this story--small alpha, big omega. I love the interaction b/t Iben & Zack, my only issue is I felt they didn't know each other. It felt more like they fell in lust than love, & though they are mates, felt more like a HFN than a HEA. After reading 'A little bit of heaven' this story was a disappointment. Not saying its a horrible story, b/c I don't think stormy glenn is capable of writing anything horrendous, however, I've always been able to see/feel when her characters fall in love with each other and by the end there is no doubt that they'll be together forever, but this book is missing that feeling & thats where the disappointment comes from

I absolutely adored this sequel to leap of faith, its always good to revisit old friends, while moving the series along. There were a couple of instances where I wanted to smack some sense into Xander, but his fears were understandable and am glad he was able to overcome his issues with Braxton's help. This sequel was fantastic, it had all the elements, romance, drama, humor(oh I laughed so hard in places, my stomach hurt as tears streamed down my cheeks), danger and of course scorching sex scenes. lol, I cannot wait for Jacobi & Zuriel to get their own stories...

joyee flynn is a hit/miss author for me. some books absolutely rock and others hit rock bottom and leave me a depressed pile of goo, but luckily her midnight mating books seem to be hits. absolutely adore Huck. I laughed with him, cried w/for him and rooted for his hea. Peyton took some getting used to and some time to understand and accept. At times I did wonder about the author saying he's an alpha male b/c there was one scene where the culprit absolutely would not have gotten away with the act he committed w any other alpha male, Peyton, however, just stood there and didn't avenge his mate. other than that, it was ok and typical joyee flynn

while I do love lynn hagen and have all of her books, it seems as if the brac pack is losing the magic that once drew me in. Its still a fantastic story, however, if you go back and read maverick, hawk or even montana's story,and compare it to her last 3 brac books, the difference will be obvious. some series should never be everlasting and if it didn't tie in with christian's cove, the demon series, zeus's pac or the winged beasts, I would not continue to read it.
