Hello. I’m a married mother with three wonderful children I gave birth to, and one other wonderful young lady I think of as a daughter. I consider life to be a grand adventure. I find something fascinating around every bend, whether it is a new book to read, new music to discover, another wonderful person to get to know or just another new animal to take into my heart. I live to learn and to discover more about this fascinating world we live in. My husband is a bean-counter by day, but many nights and weekends he transforms into an accomplished musician. I’ve performed with him on a few rare occasions, but I always enjoy musical entertainment, whatever the venue may be. We have many wonderful musician friends, and I’ve been blessed with many wonderful, talented friends from various walks of life. Friends truly do make life rich, be they animal or human. Of course, I love to write. Writing has been a passion of mine since I was very young, and that’s been a while (smiling). My hope is that readers will enjoy my writing too. Happy Reading.
Q: How did you become a writer?
A: Doc handed me a pen at birth. I think it was pre-destined, lol.
Q: Why did you choose a paranormal romance for your first book?
A: Easy. I love to read paranormal romances. Paranormal romances are fun in my book (smile), and fun in most books I’ve read of the genre.
Q: Do you relate to your characters?
A: Naturally, I think. All my secret fantasies come to life. Uh-oh, I guess not so secret anymore.
Q: How often do you write?
A: Every day that I can. However, I do have a very full life between family, pets, and friends, and some days, it just doesn’t happen. Other days, I try to make up for it.
Q: What did you start out writing?
A: Poetry. Robert Frost and Shakespeare were my original inspiration. However, I’ve also written over the years for my local newspaper. For them I’ve done movie reviews, editorials, and poems too, naturally.
Q: From reading poetry like Frost and Shakespeare to writing erotica--those seem a bit different. How did you make the leap?
A: I’m the same way with music. I love all different types: classical, rock, country, rap, hip-hop. If I like it, I like it, period. Same with writing. I judge on whether I enjoy it or not. What’s not to enjoy with erotica? Writing it can be just as steamy as reading it.
Q: Who are your heroes?
A: The first that comes to mind is Martin Luther King, Jr. Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Princess Diana, or any humanitarian or leader who promoted freedom or equality has my respect and admiration.
Q: What do you hope to gain from your book(s)?
A: Readers, lol. Like most writers, I just enjoy writing, but readers would be great.
