Q: What is my writing day like?
A: I don’t even bother trying to write unless the kids are asleep.
Q: Why did you start to write?
A: I was trapped in a very bad marriage, trying to get the courage to get out. Writing my first book was therapeutic. It also gave me the chance to accomplish something that only I could claim. It was the confidence-builder I needed.
Q: How do you come up with the ideas and characters in your books?
A: The characters and situations are hybrids of characters and situations in my own life.
Q: Do you really have a lot of Amish friends?
A: Yes, I have a lot of Amish and Mennonite friends.
Q: Do they know that you write sizzling books?
A: Of course not!
