Hot shifter man love from All Romance and Amazon bestseller C.J. Sneere.
Mystery. Murder. Alphas with attitude.
Kit Harrison hates his boss Liam Briggs. Heir to the wealthy Briggs werewolf clan, this music mogul is insufferably arrogant. But after a major project catastrophically fails on Liam, Kit sees another side of the record producer, and they begin a tempestuous relationship.
Enter Peter Briggs, Liam’s older brother who is a homicide detective with the supernatural police department. His arrival uncovers shocking secrets that challenge Kit’s loyalties. When Kit ends up in Peter’s bed, he finds himself torn between two powerful shifters.
Dominant males collide, and the passion grows hot and heavy.
Laney stomped into the office on four inch platform heels and Kit knew she brought bad news. Platinum hair had escaped her high top knot and fell over her cornflower blue, bleary eyes, giving her a frazzled look. Her plump lips drew thin in a business-like grimace. The executive producer of Wolfgang Music appeared ready for a knock-down drag-out fight, and Kit knew exactly who her anger was aimed at.
“He did it again, didn’t he?” Kit said as she approached his desk, outside of the office of producer Liam Briggs.
She shook her head. “Do you even have to ask? Seven thousand dollars over budget this time. Kit, I swear I’m going to go werepanther on his ass right now and claw off his family jewels.”
Kit stifled laughter. He knew Laney wasn’t trying to be funny. The two of them had spent many a lunch hour together bitching about the arrogant antics of Liam Briggs. Their mutual annoyance at the music mogul had made them fast friends.
“He’s with a client. New guy for that manufactured garage rock band scheme of his. But too bad. I’ll tell him you’re here, and you’re pissed.”
They shared a devious smile. “Have I told you lately how much I love you?” Laney leaned over the desk and kissed his cheek.
“You know I got your back, babe.”
Kit relished the times he could storm into Liam’s office and tell him Laney was here and she was out for his blood. After three years working as the personal assistant to this uber-rich, uber-arrogant werewolf, Kit often wondered why he stayed and put up with Liam’s bullshit. The supernatural liked to play games with Kit, goad him into battles. But Kit was the best damn personal assistant Liam ever had, and he knew this was why he never got fired, despite his mouthy comebacks to Wolfgang Music’s head producer. Liam hated to be told he was wrong, and he hated the word no. Kit wasn’t afraid to give him liberal doses of both.
He didn’t bother to knock. He just walked right in. “Laney’s here, and she’s not—”
His words faltered as loud moans drifted from the office and his gaze fell on a hot blond guy bent over Liam’s desk.
