I have enjoyed each of the Pride Valley books however this is the one I was waiting for. This is the one that answers the question of how Alexi is doing with his pregnancy, how are Katron and Fjord doing and will they finally make chocolate? Oh and yes does Jari stay still long enough for Ewon to get close. Loving Jari is a very good read that brings home the thought that to have better you can't forget the past. Just wish the book was a little longer and not so long in between each book.

I've waited patiently for another book from the Brac Pac series to come out and even longer for the story of Bryce and Ahm to be reavealed. Patience is indeed a virtue and well rewarded with this book. This is a great book that tells the tale of how Bryce and Ahm overcome both being dominate males, that are two different species, from two very different walks of life and yet finding a way to make it work together.

Despite the fact this story read more like a flashback or retelling of the other stories, I was just so happy to finally get something about Orin and Zeli, so it gets 5 for pleasing this fan.

It's getting a little weird that the same image is used for all of the bears. Yeah they look alike but come on make some effort here. Other than that the book was amusing and poignant when discussing Curtis' attack.

Wow, wow, wow. Did I wrtie that this story was like...wow? Really written well, with a story line that was fleshed out. I had to admit that I had moments of wondering who Malcom was at times then remembered it was Pa. Slight ick factor when Pa had sex but knowing that he was getting his happy on will get you past it. A story that can be read over and over again.

I resisted readig this book to test the theory that you could read each book as a stand alone as claimed. I resisted until after reading "Steven's Journey" and realized a hunger for more Brac Pac had to be fed. And don't you know this book was one of the best I read in the series.

Okay this was the book that I chose to test the idea that each book was whole and complete on their own. I had finished reading "Dagon's Ride" then I read a fellow reader's review of "Lewis' Dream." I tried it and wow what a great read. This wasn't an easy read considering Lewis' problem but it was handle well and the overalll book well done.

Although the story is a good one it is a bit of a let down after the build up in the Brac series. The Jasper that appears in this book does not turn out to be the force to reckon with as a wolf that kept his mate, and an Alpha to boot, waiting for him. And let's not start about the lack of mating ritual...
