Colby turned to me, his head on the pillow beside me. “Can you take Kennedy?”
“Yes.”
“You mean it?”
“I mean it.”
“I’ve never seen an extreme fight. I know someone dies at the end. Are there weapons?”
“No guns, but apart from that, there are no rules.”
He turned away. “Jesus Christ.”
I didn’t know what to say. “Why this sudden concern for my welfare?” I guess I wanted to hear the words. He didn’t have to say he loved me. He probably didn’t. “Colby. It’s okay to care, doesn’t mean we’re…you know. No strings.”
“Fuck you, Diego,” he said. He started to get out of bed.
I put a hand on his arm. “Wait. You’re angry at me.”
He turned around and for a moment didn’t say anything. He just looked at me. Then he sprang on me, lying on me. He pinned my arms to the mattress and captured my mouth. He kissed me passionately, then moved down the length of me, licking me and suckling me. He stroked and sucked my cock and my balls, and I was erect again.
“Damn you, Colby,” I muttered. I made a grab for him, and we rolled off the bed onto the floor. I took him there on all fours, holding him prisoner in my arms while he pretended to struggle. But we both knew what he wanted. I tightened my hold and fucked him hard while he cried out. Finally, Colby said my name while I rubbed his cock and his nipples and rode him even harder on the carpet.
We came on our knees, his back against my chest and I held him in my arms until his breathing returned to normal. He rubbed his head under my chin, then turned and held me, his lips touching my shoulder. He kissed my ear and then whispered, “I hate you for this.”
I released him. His words shocked the hell out of me. I stared at him, speechless.
He reached up to touch my face, but I pushed his hand away. “Don’t.”
“You don’t understand,” he said. His eyes were bright with tears. “If I love you, I’ll lose you. I lost my mother and my sister. I loved them too much. Kennedy will take you from me, and that will be it.” He got up and looked down at me. He took my chin and lifted my face. “But if I don’t love you, you’ll be okay. I can have you when I want.”
I shook my head and stood up. “No. You can’t, Colby,” I said. “When your membership in this club is final, it will be the end of us like this. We have to stop.” It broke my heart, but it had to be said. “I can’t be your lover.”
